An existing VM can be copied/saved to a template to be deployed as a new machine.
Windows images should have sysprep executed prior to shut down.
On the VMs tab, select the VM to be modified
Continue only after the status shows as OFF
Enter the template name, then click Save Virtual Machine to Template
****DO NOT ENTER A DESCRIPTION***** the save will fail.
Once the template save is complete, it will be available for deployment as a new template
To delete a template that is no longer required, go to the templates tab and click the trash can icon
